It seems that way anyway. But there could be more to it. Talking up my right leg (back one in this picture). Normally, it’s tucked behind my left. But finally—just in the past two weeks—I’m noticing improvement---albeit a small one! It’s been a real problem for me. The right leg is much weaker, with more loose skin & cellulite. I even have prominent varicose veins. . Background I hurt my back badly 26 years ago. For three years, the only thing I could do for exercise-- swim or walk in a pool. This was a brutal, depressing time for me. Doctors told me I’d never be able to much more than that. However, frustration and anger fueled me. Eventually, I was able to start walking on a treadmill, then jogging & running. I would continue to progress while tuning out the naysayers---and there are a lot of those in the medical industry! The Injury My injury was a compressed spine but the pain is only on the entire right side of my body. Consequently, my right side is less developed, weaker & contains more fat & loose skin. I’ve worked on the discrepancy for years. So, I’ve been working my right leg harder in the last five years—using slightly more weight or doing more reps than on my left. I tried to think why suddenly I’m seeing a smoother surface, fewer fat pockets, more muscle and even smaller veins. There could be two reasons for the improvement: 1/Consistency- Could it be that my clean food diet and work outs are finally paying off? Possibly. 2/Lowering my refined sugar-I’ve really cut back on refined sugar. I never really ate that much to begin with but I’ve tried to cut it out completely and I’m doing better than I thought I would. I’ve been off the white stuff for more than 10 weeks and I’ve only had a couple weak moments—apple pie and ice cream did it for me! . Have you noticed any changes in your physique lately that you’re grateful for? Tell me about it in the comments section below. BTW: The main reason my left leg is always in front in pics--I get asked about this all the time! You see, because of my injury & partial disability, I cannot pose with my right hip forward. It just doesn’t work---and it’s not pretty anyway! Sudden Impact! Overnight transformation—seemingly, anyway. . Do you have a question about today’s post?
