You've got this I have a great tip that may help you do more in the gym—even more in life. It motivates me to work harder, to keep going when I think I can’t and when my body wants to stop. And it’s all because of one simple thought! Let me set this up for you: I’m in Yoga class and we’re in Warrior II or III. Let’s say we’ve already been holding a pose for 40-seconds. This is when my Yoga instructor, Felicia DeBruin (Pictures include me and Felecia in Warrior II and Warrior III) works her magic. At least once during each class while we’re holding a pose, she’ll tell us this: “Come on, hold it. You can do anything for 20 seconds”. It’s the perfect motivator for me. It’s helps me to stay sturdy---to not give up in those last few seconds. And in it’s in those last moments when we stronger and better at everything. I LOVE that! She’ll also add to it: “If you don’t think you can hold it any longer, take a breath, blow it out and wait 20 more seconds. It’s not going to last forever.” Thanks to Felicia, I now use this as self-motivation for everything in and out of the gym: Running: Just one more mile, Lynda. Weights: Two more lunges. Agent: Just one more agent interview before I find THE one! Men: One more Frog! Okay, so you get the idea--try it— it can be powerful. But most importantly might help you in different aspects of life, too!
