Scary Day.

It was three years ago today when something happened to me while I was in the shower. I’ll never forget that day.
I was at a fancy spa in Scottsdale, Arizona getting ready for a relaxing body sugar scrub. I arrived early so I could take a shower and then chill in the relaxation room. This wasn’t just any shower. It was a huge place with multiple nozzles and included fabulous jetted steam..ahhh.  But five minutes later, it became anything but relaxing. As I began washing my hair it started falling out—in clumps. I’m talking huge fistfuls of hair would come out every time I ran my hands through it.
I rationalized—the steam’s causing it!  That’s it. The extreme heat and moisture are creating this immediately loss. I turned off the steam but the shedding continued. I felt sick to my stomach.
My next thought—albeit an irrational one: I need to call someone—but who—911? Well—it sure felt like an emergency! Of course, I didn’t do that. Instead, I cleaned up my horrifying “mess” and dried off. The damage was bad—I’d lost half my hair in those few minutes.
Something—obviously was very wrong. Oh yes, something was wrong alright.
To find out what caused my hair loss, go to Lynda’s Day. It was something I was taking.
It took a long time for my hair to start coming in again. But I will be sharing with you every single thing I’ve done to get my hair back---from the treatments that have worked and those that were a swing and a miss!
Go to Lynda’s Day now. It’s $9.95 per YEAR. I share all of my fitness & diet tips as well as beauty and well-being pointers.
I’m no expert, but people every now and then ask me what I do in these areas of my life. And I want to help—in any way I can.

The pictures above were taken one year after my loss. A little had come back but you can still see how my hair line had receded and the sides had bald areas. In the picture with my parents—you can see, my hair looked like that of a cancer patient.
