Doggone it, I did it again—no gym Saturday. This time I was even dressed & ready to go and that still couldn’t sway me to head out. Instead, as I write this I’m on the couch—watching an old, film noir movie from the ‘40s—you know those black & white who-dun-it movies? Love this. Before I hit the couch, I snapped this picture in which I look more proud & happier than I should look; devoured a huge breakfast that included oats, almonds, walnuts, raisins, pumpkin & flax seeds, drank my bone broth; cleaned a little; and I did manage to take my dogs, Millie and Roxy for a walk! However, I still feel guilty—I’ve missed going to the gym the last five Saturdays. I should give myself a bit of a break—as I was sick and my work outs have been making me extremely sore since I was off for about ten days. I guess it could be the Birthday Blues, too. I just turned 58 on January 21. But whatever my issue is, I do hope it passes soon. Saturday is my pull, leg day—which I’ve really come to love! I hit the leg cables and do those for about 45 minutes. Do you feel anxious if you miss too many gym sessions!? Share below how you get over the regret.
